2. What data we process
- Details you send through the contact form or by email: first and last name, email address, phone number (optional) and the content of your message.
- Technical data that is needed to deliver the website, such as IP address and browser details, which appear in the server and content delivery logs of our service providers.
3. Purpose and legal basis
We use your details only to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss and prepare a possible assignment. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to contacts and, where an assignment follows, taking steps before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).
4. Recipients and service providers
We do not sell or share your data for marketing. We use the following service providers, which process data on our behalf or as part of delivering the website:
- Airform (airform.io) forwards contact form submissions to our email.
- Microsoft 365 is used for our email.
- GitHub Pages hosts this website.
- Google Fonts and a public content delivery network deliver fonts and scripts used by the website.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA, for example in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer relies on the safeguards these providers use, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep data
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and any resulting discussions, and delete them at the latest 24 months after the last contact, unless a longer period is required by law or an ongoing assignment.
6. Cookies and analytics
This website does not use analytics or marketing cookies.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, request correction or deletion, object to or restrict processing, and receive your data in a portable format. To use these rights, contact us at the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
